    Celent recognizes DBS Group as the winner of the Celent Model Bank 2021 Award for Corporate Digital Banking for their initiative DBS IDEAL Next-Generation Digital Banking initiative.   • DBS Application Security Champion, 2019
    As part of the Initiative for DBS Developers to gain awareness of the OWSAP 10, the Application Security (AppSec) Titan Community has introduced the SecureCodeWarrior Challenge. To attain the Application Security Champion status, participant has to gain 90% in accuracy and put in 12 hours of identifying and providing fixes for application vulnerabilities.

    This certificate is awarded to Tan Xue Wen in recognition of his outstanding service to the Department and the undergraduate student body in the academic year 2018/2019.The ECE Undergraduate Student Council (USC) serves as the voice for the undergraduate student body and works closely with the Department’s management to address student concerns, opinions and suggestions as well as be involved in some of the Department’s decision making processes.
  • Alcatel-Lucent Technologies Prize Winner, 2019
    Donated in 1999 by Lucent Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd, a book prize is awarded from the proceeds of a capital sum of $15,000. The award is governed by the following conditions:Subject to rule 3 below, the book prize will be awarded to the final year student with the best Communications Engineering final year project in the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) examinations.The prize will be awarded by the Board of Undergraduate Studies on the recommendation of the relevant Board of Examiners.No award will be made unless there is a candidate of sufficient merit.The book prize, valued at $500, will be in the form of book vouchers.
  • Final Year Project (FYP) Poster Presentation - 1st Prize Winner, 2019
    The ECE Department of NUS organized our 7th final year project (FYP) poster presentation of selected projects nominated by their Supervisors. We invited our valued industry partners for this event to showcase some of our best graduating students, presenting their most important piece of work which they have worked so hard over the last 9 months
  • Young Talent Program - Market Immersion, 2017
    The core objective of YTP-Market Immersion is to provide overseas opportunities to core and emerging markets for young talents to gain industry exposure and market immersion experience that will enhance their future employability. A lump sum of $4500 was awarded.
  • Dean's List, 2017
    To qualify for Dean’s List, a student needs to obtain at least a semestral average point (SAP) of 4.5 as well as be in the top 5% of his/her cohort and completed a minimum workload of 15 MCs for the semester of which:(i) at least 12MCs must be graded (i.e. excluding modules with IP, IC, S/U & CS/CU)(ii) must have passed all modules (no ‘U’ grade)(iii) at least 12 MCs of graded modules towards the B.Eng degree requirement for DDP students.In recognition of the outstanding achievements of this group of top-notch students, certificates are awarded to the awardees.
